MISSION & VISION.

As a faith-based organization, Ezer Association is called to prevent & intervene against the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors. Specifically, we are called to do this with the conviction that our identity and inherent worth are not defined by conditions or experiences, but rather by our loving and heavenly creator, God.
Our first pillar of prevention is built upon community education and activation. We seek to connect caregivers and youth with helpful knowledge and information that can help them be aware of and avoid dangerous tactics, lies, and schemes of abusers and exploiters. Our second pillar aims to provide or facilitate access to counseling, ministry, and other crucial services that are not always easily attainable.
While sexual abuse and exploitation is a horrendous and difficult thing to discuss and address - we find courage in knowing that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but rather a spirit of power and love (2 Timothy 1:7). We believe that the only way to fight this evil is by finding our strength in the Lord and his mighty power and equipping ourselves with the full armor of God. As such, all of our efforts in prevention and intervention are intentionally underpinned with truth, acts of righteousness, the readiness and peace that can only come from the gospel, an unshakable faith and salvation, and the most powerful weapon of defense - the word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Additionally, in all of our efforts, we recognize the importance of protecting and restoring at-risk and impacted minors’ sense of identity, because we know they are so much more than their potential or lived experiences of abuse or exploitation. We believe and want to spread the belief that their real identity is rooted in the truth that they are children of God.

There are so many wonderful and powerful organizations fighting against sexual abuse and exploitation of minors in their own way. As such, Ezer Association is actively seeking partnerships in order to be better able to connect the right resources to those in need.
